Musical Youth - Pass The Dutchie

Musical Youth formed in 1979 at Duddeston Manor School, Birmingham, England. They are best remembered for their successful 1982 single, "Pass the Dutchie".

This pop/reggae group featured two sets of brothers, Kelvin and Michael Grant, plus Junior and Patrick Waite. The latter pair's father, Frederick Waite, was a former member of Jamaican group The Techniques, and sang lead with Junior at the start of the group's career in the late 1970s.

Black Market Baby - Crimes Of Passion 7''

Crimes Of Passion is the best songs Black Market Baby ever recorded in my opinion. And it’s a cover!! Well not exactly a cover but it was done when Boyd and Paul Cleary was in a band called The Snitch in 1979. Americas Youth is an original though and it’s ok but nothing more.
This is the infamous second 7inch that never happened and only some test pressings survived. From Collector Scum you can take a look at a test pressing. And from 30 Under DC you can read a story about it.

Black Market Baby's where one of those bands that could crank out some real killer tunes and the next time around they failed completely.

Agent Orange - Bloodstains E.P. 7''

The song that have given name to a series of compilations of obscure punk: Bloodstains Across this and that country. But the best name yet for a comp of obscurities may be Cumstains Over My Record Collection.

Bloodstains have somewhat overshadowed the other two tracks which are awesome too but not as hard production wise when it comes to the guitars. Agent Orange went in a more gloomy direction but at least Living In Darkness is worth picking up. Enjoy some classic punk rock from California sailors.
